Linda Sagnier graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. During her master’s studies, she participated in the Service Design Thinking program at KSRI and continued as a teaching assistant until graduating. Since April 2024, she has been a research associate at the Digital Service Design and Innovation (DSDI) Lab. She works on the research project ZirkulEA, which focuses on developing data-driven and service-oriented solutions to support circular economy strategies for electric powertrains, particularly addressing intelligent disassembly and lifecycle-oriented information exchange. In addition, since September 2025, she has been involved in an industry research project with Daimler Truck that investigates traceability concepts for trucks as an enabler of circular economy strategies, based on condition and location monitoring across the value chain. Her research focuses on traceability in circular economies, data ecosystems and data spaces, digital product passports, and digital technologies enabling circular business models.
